A big Thank You from Village Aid
As 2009 recedes, Village Aid reflects on a challenging yet inspirational year.
It is no secret that most charities continue to struggle through the problems that arose from the global economic crisis. It is therefore a very humbling experience to have received so much encouragement and provision from our supporters through such a challenging period.
Thank you all so much for your support and generous giving throughout 2009. Your response to our local Christmas ‘ask’ was very positive and we enter the New Year hopeful that our work in over 500 West African communities will continue to expand.
2010 will hold its own unique challenges but we remain confident that our partners in the Gambia, Sierra Leone, Ghana, Nigeria and Cameroon will continue the grassroots development initiatives that have benefitted thousands of people in real need.
May 2010 be full of good health and hope for you all.
